The TD Waterhouse Centre in Orlando opened on January 29, 1989,
and is the home of the Orlando Magic of the NBA. The TD Waterhouse
Centre is also the home of the Orlando Miracle of the WNBA, the
Orlando Solar Bears of the IHL, and the Orlando Predators of the
AFL. The TD Waterhouse Centre cost $98 million to build and is
owned by the city of Orlando. The building was completely financed
by the public and TD Waterhouse is paying $7.8 million over five
years for the naming rights to the building. There is parking
on the lot for nearly 4,000 cars and the nearest airport is just
over 10 miles away from the TD Waterhouse Centre. The TD Waterhouse
Centre features 26 luxury suites that can be purchased game by
game or for the entire season. The ticket prices range from $125
for amazing courtside seats to less than $20 for upper level seats.
The TD Waterhouse Centre hosts college and professional basketball,
hockey, arena football, professional wrestling, the circus, numerous
concerts, gymnastics, figure skating, and other local events.
