The Rose Garden, located at One Center Court, Portland, OR 97227, was completed in 1999 and is the home of the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA and numerous minor league hockey teams. The Rose Garden cost approximately $262 million and was financed in many ways. $34.5 million came from the city through a variety of taxes, $46 million came from owner Paul Allen who made his money through Microsoft, and the remaining $181 million came from other types of bonds and bond interest. The Rose Garden hosts many sporting events and other types of entertainment like basketball, hockey, rodeo, boxing, indoor soccer, indoor track and field, gymnastics, monster truck rallies, wrestling, and many big ticket concerts in the Portland area. The Rose Garden features 70 luxury suites and almost 2,500 club level seats throughout the configuration.
