The Fleet Center in Boston is located at 150 Causeway Street,
Boston, MA 02114. The Fleet Center has 755,000 square feet available
for use and is the new home of the Boston Celtics (NBA) and the
Boston Bruins (NHL) after years and years in the old Boston Garden.
The Fleet Center also hosts the Final Four for Division-I college
hockey and Boston Blazers Lacrosse from the World Lacrosse League
as well as a number of big name concerts throughout the year.
The Fleet Center is a ten-story building that stands 162 feet
high and only took 27 months to complete including a seven-week
delay in 1993 due to excess snowfall. The building also has two
full-service dining clubs and 36 permanent concession stands for
fans during the game and/or concert. There are 34 restrooms located
throughout the building and the Fleet Center opened up an additional
3,734 seats for basketball games compared to the old Boston Garden.
