Conseco Fieldhouse is located in the heart of Indianapolis and is one of the bigger stadiums in the NBA. The financing for the $183 million building was both public and private and the team has retired three players into their hall of fame. These players are George McGinnis (#30), Mel Daniels (#34), and Roger Brown (#35). The nearest airport is 25 miles from Conseco Fieldhouse and there are 66 luxury suites and 2,500 club level seats available for the fans. Conseco Fieldhouse annually ranks among the top stadiums in the NBA and WNBA in attendance with both teams playing near the top of the standings year in and year out. The Pacers finished last season with the best record in the league with home-court advantage throughout the playoffs but they were eliminated by the Detroit Pistons who went on to win the NBA championship. The fans will undoubtedly be out and cheering even harder next year in the hopes of bringing a title back to the city of Indianapolis.
