ARCO ARENA

Arco Arena, located at One Sports Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95834, is one of the noisiest and craziest buildings in the nation and is a definite sixth man for the Sacramento Kings of the NBA and the Sacramento Monarchs of the WNBA. Arco Arena was completed in 1988 and was privately financed for only $40 million. Arco Arena only holds 17,317 but the architecture of the building allows for maximum sound amplitude and the fans that can get seats to games are extra noisy because of wood seats in the stands so that fans can stomp their feet and really get into the game. Arco Arena features 30 luxury suites and over 400 club level seats. Even with the struggles of the team early on, Arco Arena has been sold out for every Kings game since the building was opened in 1988. The true fans stuck it out with the Kings and are being handsomely rewarded now that the team is one of the best in the league.
